Marling receives Silver Equalities Award
We're thrilled to announce we've received a prestigious Silver Equalities Award from EqualiTeach. Marling's been working closely with Equality and Training Consultants EqualiTeach and have demonstrated good practice embedding equality, and creating a safe and inclusive environment for students and staff. These requirements are in accordance placed on every UK school by the Equality Act 2010.
Louise Harris, Head of Sixth Form at Marling, says; “We've always placed great value on equality and diversity, and we celebrate the differences within our school community. We are all so proud of this award, and it’s fantastic to have our work in school recognised. This award represents our firm commitment to equality and inclusion at Marling. Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive school environment, requires ongoing thought and attention and we remain committed to this important work”.
